This week in maths we have been looking at adding 2 digit numbers together by beginning to look at what happens when we add 10 with regards to tens and units and then moving onto any 2 digit number. This has been differentiated throughout the class so some chn may still be working on 2 digit and 1 digit addition.
23 + 36 =
20 + 30 = 50 (tens)
3 + 6 = 9 (units)
50 + 9 = 59
In literacy we have been looking at the book we are going on a bear hunt. We have been looking at repeated patterns within the story in order for us to innovate the story next week to create our own repeated pattern story. .
In science we are looking at ourselves and our senses. We have been identifying why our senses are so important.
In humanities our termly question is what has changed since our grandparents were young?
This week we had a visit from a mouse who has asked us to timeline what we do during the week.
Have a wonderful weekend!! x
