They work on connecting their newly acquired understanding about the states of matter, specifically focusing on ice and its properties, including the melting point.

Year 2 seems to be full of incipient geographers! As part of our projects for Geography day, we researched countries around the world and paid closer attention to what makes them: their populations, languages, religion, size and location.

Celebrating Black History Month: Traditions of Oral Storytelling
Year 2 explored the art of Cameroonian storytelling. We learnt that behind every tale, there is a moral that challenges the audience. The griots (custodians of oral culture in Africa) strove to tell us stories for both pleasure and to learn a lesson! From this story we can learn:
