Anglo-Saxons Review!
In year 5 we will dig deeper in our historical knowledge of the Anglo-Saxon civilization.
In our first term we looked at time zones in Geography and the Earth’s rotation in our Science unit. In these lessons we discovered how the sun rises and sets at different times around the world, but also that at different points of the year the sun rises and sets at different times depending on where the earth is in relation to the sun. In our statistics unit in Maths we were looking at line graphs. We were able to combine all this data to plot how the sun rises in London in two months, one being the start of spring and one being the start of winter. See our results!
