Last week the whole school gathered at the Church of the Annunciation as part of the church’s Heritage project to restore the Calvary War Memorial. The children learnt about the brave men and women who lost their lives fighting in the Great War, creating sculptures and art works, singing, dressing-up and remembering and honouring the enormous sacrifice they made.
