Hampden Gurney were proud to be represented by Evelyn Chua and Jane Lee at the Sino-UK Basic Education Summit in Beijing, alongside participation in the 2026 International Basic Education Collaboration & Innovation Conference in Shenyang in April, 2026. Both events highlighted the growing importance of international collaboration, with a focus on how innovation, including AI and high-tech learning environments, can support more inclusive, engaging and globally connected education.
The visit also included tours of outstanding schools in Beijing and Shenyang, offering valuable insights into creativity, culture intelligence, the integration of technology and global citizenship in the classroom. Meetings with partner school Fangcaodi International School further strengthened existing ties and identified new opportunities for immersive, first-hand and cross-cultural learning experiences. This marks an exciting step forward in Hampden Gurney’s expanding international programme.
